WARRANTY & REPAIRS

Warranty

Our warranty covers any defect in material quality or workmanship that may occur with normal and reasonable use during the warranty period. In these cases, Mitch Mason will cover the costs of repair/ replacement of the product(s) and/ or parts of products that prove to be defective under normal and reasonable use. The warranty period is valid through 12 months from the date of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty is not valid for any costs, repairs, or replacements for the below:

  • Repairs necessitated by use other than normal and/ or reasonable use.
  • Blemishes caused by normal wear and tear.
  • Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, abuse, accidents, or alterations.
  • Any damages that may arise after any unauthorized work is attempted.
  • Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
  • Routine servicing or maintenance which may be required within the warranty period, including but not limited to demagnetization, accuracy adjustments resulting from the watch subjected to impact.
  • Mitch Mason products purchased through other retailers are to be handled by them and must be returned in accordance to their respective warranty policies.

Repair Fees

A return shipping, handling and servicing fee of $30 will apply to all warranty services and will be borne by the customer.

Should the defect be deemed to be under the warranty exclusions, the customer will be subjected to the cost of the repair, on top of the $30 service fee.

The Maelstrom is a sturdy yet versatile series of dive watches built for the venturesome and tenacious individual. It keeps one tough, stylish and ready to take on any challenge.

INTERNAL ROTATING BEZEL

The Mitch Mason Maelstrom is designed and built to be a valiant and versatile Companion. It is a contemporary interpretation of vintage Super Compressor Dive watches.

With an internal rotating dive bezel located under the watch crystal, apart from being permanently protected, it gives the watch a sense of depth and texture while maintaining an impressive 300m water resistance.

BEAUTY IN SYMMETRY

The dial of the Maelstrom is designed to be clean and highly legible. It retains Mitch Mason's signature dial profile, with elongated cardinal hour markers and sandwiched 12, 3 and 6 hour numerals. The dial sports a sunburst effect that dances in different lighting conditions.

The date window is perfectly positioned on the dial, with date wheels color matched. With such a seamless integration, the date complication is only noticeable when required.

3D STAMPED CASEBACK

A maelstrom is an aquatic phenomenon which exhibits the ferocious power of water, formed by opposing currents. Apart from its mighty nature, it is also a sight to behold.

The case-back of the Mitch Mason Maelstrom conveys this energy and beauty through an intriguing piece of artwork of a humpback whale making a majestic dive.

NEVER ASLEEP

The Maelstrom is generously equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova® lume. It is purposed to be your torch in the dark, be it on your bedside table or in the depths of the ocean.
